Disruptive fashion brand 1133 to debut in immersive theatrical performance for City of London’s Bartholomew Fair.

Spectacular new fashion brand 1133 will be debuted in the City of London this September in an unmissable show stopping theatrical performance as part of the City’s epic three week programme for Bartholomew Fair.

Produced by non-binary Olivier award winning artist Kit Green in collaboration with Split Second, 1133 will be showcased via a punchy and provocative reworking of Ben Jonson’s original Bartholomew Fair play (1614).

Launching 890 years after the first Bartholomew Fair event that was held in 1133, the immersive, theatrical and disruptive performance will be a celebration and modern-mash up of high fashion, queer joy and the City’s iconic history told through a premiere catwalk show like never before.

Presented by a maverick designer played by Kit Green, the sixty minute show invites the
audience backstage to be privy to the gossip and happenings as the models prepare to take the runway. Those familiar with the original 1614 play will see its roots reflected in the format, the modernised prologue and contemporary satire presented through a high-fashion lens.
