Love Leadenhall

Flower-filled pop up, gifts and cake give away for Valentine’s Day

Leadenhall Market, which lies at the heart of the City of London, is hosting a special pop-up flower stall, in collaboration with long standing tenant Windsor Flowers, to celebrate St Valentine’s Day.

Open daily from 8th – 14th February, the floral delights will include a specially commissioned window display complete with a ‘Love Leadenhall’ neon sign – the perfect backdrop for a romantic social post – along with an abundant market stall on the cobbled street.

To celebrate the day itself, Leadenhall Market is very much in favour of providing cake for office workers and visitors alike – 160 free mini cakes from Aux Merveilleux de Fred, the French patisserie to be found at the market entrance – are up for grabs from 11am on the 14th February.

Leadenhall Market makes an ideal date destination, with its iconic Victorian wrought iron and glass structure creating a spacious, airy setting to explore, dine, drink or shop. Delicious dinner for two options include family run Rocca, Broker’s wine bar & restaurant, Italian restaurants Giorgio and Osteria del Mercato, the French Luc’s Brasserie, a dedicated rioja bar at Spanish La Viña and the traditional British setting of The Lamb Tavern.

The Market’s boutique shops are also showcasing present ideas for loved ones with a curated Love Leadenhall gift guide. The guide includes classic red roses from Windsor Flowers, Cheese and Wine tasting for two from Cheese Leadenhall, a Champagne Gift box from Amathus, vouchers for a pampering treatment from Askinology, a blow-dry subscription from Nicolson & Griffin, books from Waterstones and a toasty hat and scarf set from Barbour.

One lucky couple can win a Love Leadenhall hamper, packed full of the gifts, by entering via the Market’s social channels: Twitter: @LeadenhallMkt, Instagram: @LeadenhallMarket.
