Leadenhall Market will be marking the UK’s first step-free art trail, Morph’s Epic Art Adventure, with a special model making workshop in partnership with Morph creators Aardman.
Taking place on Wednesday 26th July from 6.30pm – 7.30pm, the clay workshop will be run by an expert model maker who has worked on some of Aardman’s best-loved films including Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep.
Participants will learn about the unique skills behind creating an Aardman animation and have a go at creating their very own Gromit, which they can then take home with them.
Tickets will be available to buy from 1st July, and are priced at £10, with all profits to be donated to Whizz Kidz, the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users.
For those unable to attend the evening workshop, there will also be afternoon drop-in sessions, where visitors can learn more about how Aardman characters such as Morph, Shaun the Sheep and Gromit were created. Drop-ins are taking place from 12.30 – 5.30pm and are free to attend.
